I got 1lb shrimp, 1lb snow crab legs, corn and potatoes in medium spiciness, and two sauces. The shrimp is the frozen shrimp that you get out of the store that only has the tail on it. It was over cooked, unflavored, and too chewy. The snow crab legs were nothing but salt, and then plenty of cayenne pepper. I love spicy food, but I like a flavor to go with it too. Salt is not a flavor. The crab legs were also seemingly some type of frozen, because the meat was hard, separated a lot, and dry. The corn was small and overcooked. The potatoes were ok, but they were medium sized whole potatoes that were boiled, so the middle didn't have flavor. They would have been better if cut up or smaller so that they had good flavor throughout. Now onto the sauce. It was bland. It would have been ok if the food had nice flavor and the sauce was just there to give a little bit of boost, but the sauce was just something to cut the overbearing salt on the crabs and to improve the potatoes a little bit. Overall, as an avid boiled seafood eater, I was...
Read moreTotal bait and switch. My wife and I called on two separate occasions to inquire about sacks of live crawfish. On both occasions we were told they had small for $50, mediums were $60 and medium large were $100 per sack. When I arrived this morning, April 9th, at 11:00am, I was told abruptly and very rudley "We don't sell mediums. Who told you that? Was it a man or a woman?" No apologies for the mixup and with an attitude, reinterrated that mediums were never an option to purchase. So instead of me spending $120 for two sacks of crawfish, they got me for $200. Being that I had this pre arranged and did not have time to search for crawfish else where. If a company advertises one thing, they should abide by the advertised price. I called and spoke to a company representative, unless they allow just any john Doe to answer their phone and give company information and prices, this is classic bait and switch. Enjoy the $80 up charge you got on me today because it will never happen again. I will tell any and all not to...
