Beautiful place to visit most times of the year. If you're into running or cycling, there are beautiful views either north or south along the tow path. Just about 1.5 miles south there is a fantastic hiking trail loop up in the woods that has a few nice views and a few historical landmarks. The train runs through here if you're interested in a longer distance bike ride. Hop on for like 5 bucks, get off further from your car and ride back. The brecksville reservation here is a beautiful piece of land to explore, and I'm not into it. But the fishing here seems quite popular as well. On the way, you will pass the Mudcatcher, and an eagle's nest. Continuing on, you will be on your way to the...

The not so good: I go here to birdwatch and to relax, but this may be one of the most popular places in the entire park. There are a few picnic tables, not many, but this is more of a place to start your visit rather than hae a picnic. In peak good weather and weekends, the towpath can be quite crowded, so pay attention.
As a nature lover and bird watcher, this is one of my two favorite places to be. Worth the visit - over...
