The CountyLine Saloon — Restaurant in Brecksville

This is our 3rd time here. The first time was great. The second time we ordered 2 burgers, mediocre at best . They gave us the wrong burgers and cooked at the wrong temperatures. We still gave it another go. Just left there today, the burgers were wrong once again, the bartender had to go back to kitchen to get all our toppings, not once, but twice. The fries were so burnt and hard I could have thrown one at someone and gave them a concussion. We were given tarter sauce instead of ranch we requested. We ordered wings as an appetizer which came out way after our burgers were served. And when we finally got them they were the wrong flavors as well. The bartender did comp the wings but then gave us somebody else’s bill so she had to go back and Figure out which one was ours. I will never stray from London pickle works again. After back to back times of almost everything being wrong, it’s safe to say we won’t be going back. Oh, and there were only 10 people in the place, none of which were eating. So disappointed. My family has been frequenting this restaurant for many years. The food, for the most part, is good. Burgers and wings are as expected and I have had their soups on occasion which have not disappointed! Service is always good and I enjoy the vibe of this place. My most noteworthy experience here was last summer (Sorry, I am a little late on my posting!) My boyfriend and I were sitting on the patio and we ordered a soft pretzel as an appetizer and we watched the cook walk out of the restaurant, into the the building behind the actual restaurant (they must store some food out there,) grab a soft pretzel with her bare hands, walk back through the parking lot back, with the pretzel in hand, uncovered or protected in any way and back into the kitchen. A little unsettling. One would ask why I bothered to come back but I have had more good experiences here than bad so I haven't completely crossed it off...

Can't fault the service. Bar lady was fine. Other than getting us our bill the second we finished eating... whereas everyone else was just chilling... like. You've eaten. Leave. Was the sense we got.

Had been looking forward to visiting here as it had a real wild west vibe so came to check it out.

Well. Wild West is right. We walked in and EVERYBODY stared at us... like "this town ain't big enough for the both of us" stare. Awkwardly went to a table at the back.

Had a quick drink and food, food wasn't great, not terrible.

Continued staring from the other patrons.

When we paid up and left... they all fell silent and stared at us leaving. Very uncomfortable and I think, unless you're a local? Regular? Just don't. You're not welcome.

Did check in mirror that I hadn't sprouted a second head at random... no logical reason for the staring...
