Boston Beef & Provision — Attraction in Bridgeport

Called in to make an order over the phone like I always do because I don’t drive and normally take Ubers and can’t have the Uber person waiting I called 35 min before closing for them to cut some oxtails for me and was told no because they are cleaning up and they don’t take orders over the weekend when I’ve ordered over the weekend twice before I’m a person that doesn’t care how great a place is if customer service isn’t there it doesn’t matter to me I spoke to Brandon “the owner” and you would think the owner would take the order I’m he said no we have to clean up I thought if a business is opened till 6 I would think I can come get an order 30 min before however me and my family will not be back this is not how you handle customers that support...

I visited this place a few times, and the customer service was okay. I went today for a pound of oxtail, and the guy who took my order first asked if I wanted only a pound. I said yes, and he then walked off with an attitude. Whenever he came back out, he threw it on the scale as if I was begging for a free meal, and even if I was, that is no way to treat a person. He started to talk to me as if I were a child, so when I started giving him the same energy he started victimizing his self asking me why I have an attitude which I didn't. The lady behind the register was doing some hand signs instead if telling him he's wrong. I will never shop here again meat isn't...

Everyone is friendly, helpful, in tune with the community folks...even know a lot of us by first name, now that's #awesome! Just learned this morning before going to work, that the check out girl is one of the owners daughter... had no idea, and I'm not quite a regular but, I'm in there a lot. Yes! Just this morning I over heard she said, "Dad, pick up the phone " and I goes, "That's your father? She smiled, and said yes. I was so in awe! I really do like buying from there. Never had a bad experience there. Meats are always fresh, all other products are up to date, the place is always, always clean...I LUV ...
