Valley Farm Drive-In — Restaurant in Bridgeport

I patronize this place for over four decades on a regular basis and will never ever go there again after what happened last time I was there. Since Rich left the place has been going rapidly downhill from the food quality two especially the service. One of the two twin girls is okay the other one has a complete attitude and I don't go there to deal with her attitude that's for sure. The last time I was in there she cracked a joke, had her little friends working behind the counter and her friend was laughing so hard that she was wiping all the sweat off of her face into her hands as she was bending over laughing and then she stood up and started touching people's food with those nasty hands that she just wiped all her nasty sweat off of her face with and expected everything to be okay. So I stepped up to the counter to let one of the two twins know that this is what just happened and she turned around and made me a bad guy by defending her friend , she told me that I could have said it nicer to her and I told her that that's not my job my job is to come here and get my food and go home not to sit here babysitting you and your friends because you're all having a good time back there. I walked out and they will never ever see me again and I noticed that I'm not the only one that is saying how shity their service is if you read the reviews there are many others that say the same thing I'm saying. There were two other customers in there that witnessed the same thing I witnessed they both said it before I did and that's what made me step up to the counter but they don't see this because they're so high up on their horse. So I highly recommend if you want a good burger and good food go a couple miles up the road to the Merritt canteen they're always on the money never fail you. Long as your money is green everybody wants it so go spend it somewhere where it is appreciated and you can get some appreciation in return instead of getting a attitude in return...

Okay, so I saw a female employee making sandwiches with no gloves on. I told the male employee to tell her to put gloves on especially if making my sandwich. I then said that’s proper hand hygiene. The employee then said “ technically, we don’t have to wash our hands because we use sanitizer soap. I told him that I just saw her wiping sweat off her forehead & then touching the food & that I’m also a nurse & that is not proper hand hygiene. He then went silent. The lady asked what I said and the male replied she wants you to wear gloves. The lady then walked towards the back. I said “ you know word travels & you want do good business & keep your customers. He said “yeah well.” Then said “have a good one.” In a disregarding tone. Had he showed respect, I wouldn’t have posted this but because the matter was handled poorly & disregarded, I thought to let everyone know to watch out...

came in for a steak and cheese, young lady and the guy short guy with a beard dark hair she put on the steak and cheese on the grill and they’re not cooking. It’s just burning on the grill and I ask him like what are you guys gonna do on my steak is burning. He has an attitude. He said he want another one. I’m like well if you’re asking me that of course because it’s burning and you’re not even cooking my onions some of them are cooked. Some of them are not then he snatches the steak off the grill and slammed it in the garbage. So I’m like no thank you keep your food that was terrible customer service. He shouldn’t even be working in customer service. He should be fired. If he has that attitude you shouldn’t be working get a job that doesn’t require you serving customers short guy, dark...
