Primal Surf — Attraction in Brigantine

I went there with my fiancé and toddler because we love to collect surf shop shirts from different places . They had really nice things I was greeted and everything was fine instead of a chill atmosphere the sales girl was following me and my toddler around while my fiancé was shopping on the other side . I used to work in retail and asking someone over 5 times if they needed help was a little annoying at that point I had a feeling she was following me because she must have thought I was going to steal. It made me super uncomfortable and it was a little too aggressive for someone that works at a surf shop. We own a business and would never treat people as such . My toddler was also having a meltdown over shoes and at that point while he was having a major meltdown she just staring at me and my son . I gave 4 stars because I don’t believe in bashing business but the owner definitely needs to talk to her sales girl about making people feel comfortable and not being...

I don't normally write reviews, but we had such a good experience with Mike and the Primal Surf staff I felt I needed to share. We signed our daughter up for surfing lessons with Mike at Primal. She has some significant health issues and we were worried about her being able to physically be able to surf. Mike and his staff worked with her and modified the lesson to help her be successful. She loved it so much and we could not be happier with the service we received from Primal. We ended up buying 2 surf boards and that process was seamless as well. Mike spent a lot time talking with us through which board would be best for our daughter's situation. I couldn't be happier with the service we received and the attention and compassion shown by the entire staff. Thank you for making our vacation a memorable experience for our entire family. I wanted a couple new pairs of bathing trunks and decided to stop here for the first time on my way into Brigantine. I called ahead to make sure they carried the brand Vissla — he said they did — and if they had a decent selection of size 32, to which he replied I'd have to come in and look because they "have a lot of bathing suits." Ok, fair enough. When I arrived, not only didn't they have any Visslas in size 32, they actually had NO size 32s at all! What surf shop is completely out of a bathing suit size halfway through the summer? I just wish someone would've taken a 10-second trip to the rack to let me know this when I called instead of coming in only to be disappointed and leaving with nothing.
