Hair Experts — Attraction in Bristol

First the woman was nice, but that's about it. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment I had made online. Both hairstylists had customers in their chairs. I waited and thought I would be next. Then both stylist took other people into their chairs. I again was calm waited thinking maybe they are running behind. Again the woman takes someone else, now 25 minutes after my appointment, until I say "Excuse me I have an appointment at 1245". She then states "Sorry, we dont check the computer often" and proceeds to tell the person she had in the seat that she will cut mine first(I know I'd be annoyed if I was him). Then she asks me to go take a seat at her chair, which was still covered with the previous customer's hair, when she realized I wasn't sitting she brushed some off and motioned me to sit(Gross!!). I ask for a military skin fade, and she looks very confused at me. Understanding that some stylists don't know what a military skin fade means (giving benifit of the doubt) I describe what I wanted. The stylist did not put a neck guard on me (Again gross, since I really dont know what the previous customer had on him, just unsanitary) and begins to just shave my head. She was was a nice girl but has not done a lot of military haircuts or was rushing. The fade wasn't blended great, she didn't shave around my ears, and didnt ask if I wanted my side burns trimmed or taken off. Then when she was done (4 minutes later) she wasn't going to show me the back till I had to ask to see it, and she hands me a mirror where I had to bend my arms in wierd angles to get a good look. Then to top it off, I had made the appointment for a cut and wash which was $18, never got my wash and got an awful haircut and was charged for both. By that point I was so annoyed that I was going to lose it, so I left rather then argue or say something. I have had haircuts all over the country and all over the world and have never been this annoyed leaving a haircut.

Follow-up 10/4/19: Spoke with Bella the owner who immediately called me and apologized for my experience. She offered for me to come in and for her to personally cut and wash my hair. I went and it was a great haircut and very nice experience. She is very nice and...

We love hair experts. We usually walk in, my boys are confined to wheelchairs and they are so accomadating. However, we booked an online appointment with Lyss and found out later that we didn't even have her and it was just a boys haircut which took over an hour and 1/2. We later found out that Jade cut my boys hair 6 months ago and she was incredible. I did send a message from the web page over a week ago to see who may have remembered our boys from March. We will see Jade from now on. I don't suggest an online appointment because we didn't even get the person we booked with and we felt like they didn't even know we had an appointment. Im so sorry to comment, but we just wanted to explain what happened. 😊 We truly love our experience there. Thank you so much to Bella for reaching out, I knew that she knew our frustration. These things happen, and believe me, we are used to it. It's tough with two handicap boys and to find a place so accomadating. EDIT: I returned to Hair Experts a few months later for a wolf cut. My stylist - Jade - absolutely CRUSHED IT. She gave me everything I wanted & more. I have never been a "bangs woman" but these bangs are incredible. The cut was expertly done, and I paid a whopping $25 for hair that looks like I paid $250. I was provided a business card for Jade, and it was in another person's hands the next day (because it is so amazing that people wanted her name). A separate woman stopped me in public to ask me where I got my cut done, as a good wolf cut is hard to come by. I would need a whole pack of business cards to give out if I gave one to every person who complimented this beautiful cut. Jade is a hair maestro!! And Hair Experts settles for nothing but the best!!
