This local favorite is definitely worth checking out. Very good food in a comfortable atmosphere. Tucked away in a strip mall, green eggs is a popular spot. When I went in, I first checked out the restroom. Clean, but not fancy. A few flowers and a candle in a tray were a nice touch. The space was larger than I expected, with plenty of seating and spots at the counter, where I sat . No tv or music was playing, so I could overhear conversations around me. The menu was complete but not overwhelming. I had a veggie and cheese omelette with a fruit bowl and a coffee. I don’t do pork, and their corned beef hash is only served on weekends. The home fries they were serving on other plates looked perfectly cooked with crispy edges, but I can’t speak to the spicing( I’m low carb, too- ugh!) The service was quick and professional; Friendly, but efficient. *The food was very good. Veggies were fresh and not overcooked. The cheese was plentiful and just melted without being runny. The omelette itself was medium thickness, moist and buttery without being too oily. The edges were browned but not crispy. The fruit cup was well varied , but not large. The coffee was very good. I was full when I got the bill. With tip it came to $20, which was a bit much without meat I’d recommend it to others, but it probably won’t become a favorite as I love to be satisfied AND feel like I got a great deal ( hardly ever happens BTW… lol).

Worst service EVER! Stay away! After waiting outside twenty minutes to be seated, we are waiting inside over an hour with nothing served except coffee. To add insult to injury there are several tables who came in after us who have received their food. They provided a lame excuse about how the chefs work on tickets as they deem easiest. I guess scrambled eggs requires an advanced culinary skills. If I could have rated them lower than one star I would have. I don’t blame the waitstaff as they were helplessly waiting on the kitchen. This is possibly the worst run restaurant I have ever experienced. If you respect your time, stay away!

6/23 Green eggs of Bristol, MA. Nice breakfast restaurant of Metacomet Blvd tucked up on the inside corner of strip mall located one light south of Stop & Hop. This place has expanded into the space next door, plenty of seating and servers, many and pleasant. I had 4 egg white omelette with Italian sausage and provolone cheese with raisin toast and coffee. I was focused on eating and did not notice what the others had. Truth, hungry this morning, give this little gem a shot.

I decided to take out my mother and grandmother who also can barely walk due to health conditions out to breakfast. I was really excited to try this place out. From the moment we were sat down we were ignored by our waitress a great deal. Our food came out after almost an hour wait and we didn’t receive any refills when the food came. We had empty cups during our meal. We noticed other patrons being waited on with a greater sense of detail and received their food within 10 minutes. As my mother and grandmother do not speak English I feel we were unfairly overlooked because of this. Being a Hispanic man I know when people are judging a book by it’s cover. I have personally worked in customer service all my career in Country Clubs in Newport and so on so I know the business. I’ve always treated every customer with the same respect no matter what race, gender, financial history etc. I personally was more embarrassed and upset not because of me but because my mother and grandmother who has dementia as well had to go through this awful experience. I can’t believe I drove over 30 minutes to get to this place and we were treated so poorly. Do better because I will be back and record the whole incident so no other person will ever feel less by going out to eat to...

My husband and I ate here on a busy Sunday morning. Reserved a table and got a seat very quickly. Social distancing made us feel very safe. The staff were all wearing there masks appropriately. Watching the well oil machine as they prepared food, put finishing touches on plates and sent out the food just seconds after coming off the grill was INCREDIBLE. Seeing staff clean tables to get more patrons in with such speed and precision was INCREDIBLE Very attentive to our table, making sure we always had a full cup of coffee and any thing else we required. I got the special omelette, which had tons of yummy veggies and goat cheese. It was so wonderful! The portion sizes are much more than I could eat in one sitting so 2 meals could easily be made from 1. The prices were very good considering all the fresh ingredients. Over all I wish I could give them 10 stars. Will be returning many more times! BEST BREAKFAST! GREAT...
