This is a great little beach with clean sand and a gentle slope into the ocean water with no sudden drop offs.parking is tight but ample and admission is paid at the boardwalk office via cash or charge. Ticket is good for all day so you can leave and re enter the beach if you need to. Bathrooms, foot washing, changing areas are clean and ample. A gift shop and concession stand complete the lineup. No lifeguard here so swim at your own risk. Congrat to Bristol recreation department for making this great family friendly park available to the general public.

I am hesitant to post this. I love this place because it's not as crowded as popham or Reid state park. Also the white sand is amazing. There is food at the entrance so you don't have to go hungry. It's a great place to relax for the day. It is definitely my favorite beach.

A beautiful beach that was extremely fun for the kids. Tons of little hermit crabs for the kids to catch and release. Many tidal pools for the kids to discover sea life in. The beach is large enough to not be overcrowded and the amenities are top notch. A must see beach.

Pemaquid Beach is a fantastic place to spend the day in Maine and is inviting for all ages. With plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the sand, it’s perfect for everything from relaxing in the sun to fun beach adventures. Kids and families love exploring the rocks and searching for crabs, while others might enjoy a quiet picnic or building the biggest sandcastle they can.

The water is usually calm with very minimal waves and little to no riptide, making it a safe and comfortable spot for swimming. Off the beach, there’s a great food stand and plenty of picnic tables where you can enjoy a meal with a view. The facilities have been newly refurbished in recent years, including a beautiful new entrance that sets the tone for a great day ahead. Whether you’re sunbathing, swimming, snacking, or exploring, Pemaquid Beach is a perfect summer destination...

This little crescent shaped beach with its lovely low-key pavilion building is a gem of a find... Clean, well managed, plenty of good seating at the pavilion building, a great food shack and sometime small scale music concerts near the beach...it really has it all. My only suggestion for improvement would be to install a single porta-potty somewhere on the premises for people who go to the beach after hours as the restrooms close and are locked at the same time the admissions booth and The snack shack close and a lot of people like to stay beyond closing time, especially given the gorgeous sunsets you can see...
