This center is the worst place I've ever been to. I dont normally take my kids to a "payfor" pool because there are 6 of us and it's quite expensive to do, but today we decided to visit the aquatic center for some fun. We arrived at 5:15 and paid the $26 dollars to swim. We were there literally 5 minutes when they blew the whistle to make everyone get out because there was suppose to be inclement weather. FIVE Minutes! They were offering "comeback" bracelets for the rest of the day but refused to offer raincheck tickets or refunds. We spoke to the lady who was "in charge" and she showed no signs of sympathy or caring about me or my family. She kept saying its not our policy to give refunds or rainchecks! its been that way for 3 years since we opened! If I did it for you I'd have to do it for everyone! Give me a break! I paid almost 30 dollars to swim for 5 minutes! We waited for a long time in hopes of getting back in, but every time she "heard" thunder they pushed the time farther! I asked what would happen if the time got pushed Past their closing time and she said we were out of luck! ARE YOUR SERIOUS!?! This is in no way even close to customer service let alone good customer service! I didnt want a refund, I wanted to be able to bring my 4 kids back and swim! I dont care if you have a sign posted about bad weather or not! I paid you for a service and you didnt deliver! Or even offer to deliver on another day! They had my money and that's all they cared about! Then she very patronizingly tried to make conversation with my kids about their ages to make them stop crying! I dont think so, dont spit in my face as a customer and then try to be my kids friend! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Hot or not this summer, they are not a reputable or nice facility! Once they have your money, you...
Read moreThe facility itself is good, but the policies and non-existent customer service of this place is absolutely abysmal. The first strike against the place is their policy on their punch cards they offer. Last season I purchased one very close to the end of the season. I used only three of the 10 punches (these things cost 30 bucks for a card) before the pool was closed for the season. When it opened again the next year I went to the pool and presented the card and they told me that it was no longer valid, despite the fact that nowhere on the card did it say it had an expiration date or that it was only good for that season. So in essence, I spent 30 bucks to swim one day for three people, the rest of the punches were useless. If they would have been so kind to have told me this when I purchased it so close to the end of the season it would have been a different story. However, no one mentioned this, and nowhere on the card did it state this was the policy. Very customer un-friendly, and uncaring attitudes.
The most recent visit we were there, it was cloudy, but there was no lightning or thunder. However after we had been there for about 40 minutes, one of the lifeguards supposedly heard thunder. She asked if any of the others had heard it, but none seemed too sure. I for certain didn't hear any, and I have perfectly find hearing. Anyway, because she supposedly heard thunder, the pool was evacuated and we were forced to leave. This place is a joke, and I am ashamed that this is a place in Broken Arrow. I won't be paying any more money to this...
Read moreVery nice indoor and outdoor facility- the open pickleball group gets very full and people can be kind of rude. When asked about the 18 and up rule for PB open play because adults were harassing children (10-15ish old kids who were well behaved) saying that can’t play here- I was showing the front desk what it says on the CITY WEBSITE and their OWN SCHEDULE that there isn’t an age limit. Mind you there there were 4 pickleball courts set up- leaving 20 kids to play on one half court of basketball! I was dismissed and they were not receptive to the inquiry saying that if you go into your account when you register it says the age in fine print- I didn’t even know there was an online account so they aren’t catching on that people aren’t looking there for information… Nor do they care- such a frustrating interaction. So beware your children can’t play pickleball during the summer indoors- they want them to play...
