We’re exploring Asian grocery stores all over the Twin Cities! 4.5/5 An excellent asian grocery store where you will find what you need to make an Asian dish. It looks small from the outside but it's actually a good size that's packed with a variety of kitchenware, ingredients, sauces, frozen goods and much more. The only downside was that there weren't prices for some items, so you had to look or ask an employee. Other than that, the store is very well stocked and easy to find what you're looking for and if you can't find it, the employees here are very helpful. There is a hot foods towards the back of the building. We didn't try it but the food looked good! Mainly southeast Asian foods; papaya salad, sticky rice, spring rolls, egg rolls, broiled chicken, and more. it will definitely fulfill your cravings. Overall, a good grocery store if you're in the area. It's right off the main road and highway so you can drop by here to get a snack or hot foods.

I’ve been coming to this Hmong grocery store for years, but sadly, it’s gone downhill in recent times. The customer service has become noticeably poor. On my last visit, the cashier—David, He clearly didn’t know how to count properly and rang me up for more items than I actually purchased. It felt like I was being cheated. Thankfully, I caught it on the receipt, so I strongly recommend checking yours before leaving. It’s disappointing because this place used to have a great deli before COVID, but they’ve discontinued it and never brought it back. Between the lack of courtesy, sloppy checkout process, and decline in overall quality, I don’t see myself returning anytime soon. Definitely not the neighborhood gem it once was.

Worst store ever!!!! Me and my mom went to get food at the kitchen area, as we are standing there the lays that keeps coming in and out doesn't even look at us, (keep in mind we are Hmong too- nothing racial) and doesn't even bother to ask what it is that we need. We come to the cashier and tell her about it and she says "oh you have to ring the bell for service" well why the hell do we need to ring the bell when clearly there's a person there who can see us? The bell is only if there is no one around. Service is slow, the people there work slow and put theirselves first before their customers. There are two cash registers and two cashiers, a really long line and one cashier goes off to get water for herself. If I was in her situation I would help ring up as many customers as I can first. NEVER RVER GOING...

I was obviously a person out of place. Everyone was of asian descent of some sort. People stared at me as I walked around the isles. People were obviously suprised/amazed when they walked around the corner and came upon me.

It wasn't very welcoming to be honest, as someone who isn't Asian. I also had issues where I would go through 4 to 8 packages of peppers before I would find one that didn't have mold.

I am sure it is very welcoming to the right group of people, but as non-asian person I felt very unwelcome.

They had some decent options and the prices were good/decent though.

Please give it a try, they seem like nice people. Maybe I am just reading into it too much. Most of the people I encountered seemed nice enough. For all I know it is a cultural difference. No one was mean. I just didn't...
