My family has been supporting this business since they started years ago in South Minneapolis on Nicollet. I was telling my friend how the business ended up in Brooklyn Park and they have good BBQ n Peking duck and they were nice peopleto support. So I took my friend (Chinese) there after work to buy a roast duck. Well, as we were selected the duck she (one of the owner's) rambling on that the ducks are all the same. Why are we choosing. She made a rudely comment under her breath n made an annoying face at us along with her young son as well. I was so embarrassed that I had earlier telling my friend how nice they are lmao. It was an awful experience and embarrassing for my friend. My friend was chinshe she heard the lady swearing under her breath in Chinese. Business like this one with supports from old customers like us will drive us away because of the bad customer services. You business owner need to understand that without our support, you wouldn't be in business. Ducks are different and not thecsame as you are different from me too. Next time, please put the attitude away when doing business because you want our money and support keep you in business. Definitely for sure my poor friend will never shop at your...
Read moreDon't waste your money. Don't even know where to start. Sat down at a table after waiting for minutes, no employee to show us. Then they finally got us a menu, I asked for something hot and spicy. The server recommended the Szechuan Beef, my wife ordered the Orange chicken and also wanted a little heat. My daughter ordered the Mixed Veg Pad Thai plus an order of egg rolls. I really wanted to get Pho, but was told no Pho today. Disappointment. We tried to order the Spring Rolls, again told no Spring Rolls.
Rude waitstaff, the owner (I guess was nearby and had to ask him to get us silverware and water). The tv was blasting right by the table, again i had to ask to turn it down.
The food was terrible, no heat to the beef. The beef itself was gummy. Chicken was flavorless.
Pad Thai was also gummy.
Our egg rolls came way after the meal, and only when we complained to the owner.
Had to repeatedly ask for water to be refilled.
Awful food, rude staff.
I asked the owner why the beef didn't have any heat, he said I have to order it with heat. I informed him that I asked them for extra heat, oh he said "Staff doesn't understand English"
Sheesh.
Never again. Not worth spending...
Read moreREAD A FEW REVIEWS and you'll see there's a common trend with this place. Customer service here is non existence unless you're white. The girl (not a women) in the front and male worker sitting at the table with his laptop are rude! I notice, I didn't receive a receipt and went back in to ask for it. The girl a and her bf on his laptop started swearing in Vietnamese (du ma du ma du du) and to my surprise they're not chinese. They both gave me an obvious attitude and dirty looks. The reason why orders are completed fast are because everything is precooked! I will not be coming back here!
Fried Dumplings: 2/10. The dumplings were lightly pan fried. The outer shell was solf and insides were warm. One of the worse fried dumpling I've ever had.
Eggrolls: 2/10. The Eggrolls are obviously pre-made and reheated. The outer shell tasted very burnt and extremely greasy! Disgusting!
Roast Pork: 5/10. Taste was below average. Meat was dry.
Duck (red): 6/10. Average.
Twice cooked pork: 6/10. Average
Beef and tendons: 5/10. Flavor was average. Meat was too soft because not because it was over cooked but because it was obviously pre-heated. Who knows how many days it has...
