I did not like my first experience at Stine Home & Yard store. The employees stared at me like I was some kind of walking side show exhibit and they all turned their noses up and away. Then ,the kids and I were walking down each and every aisle looking for storage containers and not one single floor's sales associate ask us if we needed help finding something. Not one person. And trust me, there was at least 5 employees, the same ones that were stationed at the front entrance of the store, they were stalking us from each area we would walk through until I finally stopped , paused and looked at all 5 of themstraight in the eye , and that was right before I walked the hell out. If my young kids wouldn't have been with me today, the stare that I gave them would have not been the only action that I took. I guarantee that my mouth would have been spitting fire and flames. I actually had to turn around to see if they had actually walked with me , and sure enough, I WAS RIGHT!! They literally stalked and followed me the entire time. Like I was a goddamn thief, please people ,like I would even do something so stupid . I swear, I will never go back to this store and I recommend that if anyone is stopping in at Stine and ,you future customers, either cover up any visible tattoos that you proudly wear on your skin or you will be presumed an imposter from the minute you are seen. And last I checked, the sales associates who are stationed at the front of the store, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO GREET EACH AND EVERY CUSTOMER AND ASK IF YOU WILL NEED ASSISTANCE, NO MATTER WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE. My father and I were blown away by the level of service, integrity, and heart we received while purchasing a new bathtub and stand-up shower for a renovation. From start to finish, the experience exceeded all expectations and that was entirely because of two incredible men: Mr. Michael Westley and MOB Mr. Chris Tribe (Broussard )and all of the other amazing associates!
Mr. Chris Tribe is a true servant leader gracious, professional, and deeply intentional in his care and guidance. He not only supported us with expert knowledge, but also with kindness and humility that you just donāt find in retail anymore. He leads with excellence and compassion, and you can feel his character in every interaction.
Mr. Westley was equally amazing a humble man, a father, and someone who radiates warmth and quiet strength. He treated us with such respect, patience, and kindness, even going out of his way to help my father with load the items into our vehicle on top of everything else. You can tell he takes pride in doing things the right way.
Both gentlemen went above and beyond, and they deserve recognition. I wholeheartedly recommend they be rewarded with additional PTO, a raise, vacation something that shows how valuable they are. People like them are rare.
