As a paying patron, who is also staying at the hotel. I have never felt more disrespected in a professional establishment. At first we were having a good experience, but then it took a MAJOR turn. We were looking at shirts along the wall. The girl working there was saying disgustingly disrespectful things about my family. She said that she wanted to pull my mom’s hair, and if she couldn’t do that, then she wanted to bite her. She was saying this to her fellow coworker who also found it amusing and they laughed together. All of this was said in her own language, and under the impression that we would not understand. Unluckily for her we do. We proceed to make it known that we are understanding what is being said in real time. The store worker proceeds to hide. Let’s preface, before this whole interaction, this female worker was horse playing with MULTIPLE of her co workers. This should have been the initial sign of how unprofessional the young workers are not to only the patrons shopping, but the business as a company. The foundation of your business is hospitality. This was nothing short of a direct contradiction to that fact. We as a family were so excited to stay here because we heard such great things, but this interaction left a nasty taste in our mouths. If this is how they treat costumers to their face under the impression of ignorance, then imagine what they say about all of the other patrons who really can’t understand. At the end of it all, the girl didn’t even apologize, its not about the words it’s about the principle. With such high hopes for this store. We were left underwhelmed, extremely disrespected, and overall it was a...

As a local of this area & as someone who goes to Bryce Canyon w/ family quite often - I expected so much more from this store. The first time I went in it was great. The second time I went in it wasn’t so great - not staffed well & confused staff. The third & FINAL time was absolutely horrible. I went to purchase my items - the chip reader was unable to read my chip so attempted 3 times like machine request, it then told me to swipe. When I proceeded to swipe the cashier YELLED at me telling me to stop. Then proceeded to tell me I needed to do my chip 3 times... I responded by telling her maybe if she had been paying attention & now shoving her face with twizzlers & talking to the other cashier maybe she would have seen that I had in fact done it 3 times! Then she proceeded to call me a liar. I decided I didn’t need my items after being yelled at & being called a liar. When I went to make a complaint to the manager she didn’t even make eye contact with me & acted like I was wasting her time. I have never been so disrespected in a store. I will not be going back. I will not be allowing my family to enter this store. & I will continue to tell my experience to anyone that will hear it - locals, tourist, cats, anyone. NO ONE DESERVES TO BE YELLED AT & CALLED A LIAR BY A OBLIVIOUS CASHIER. & then to have a manager who doesn’t care about the customer is even worse. Both women should be fired in my opinion. I am a business owner & there is no way in hell I would keep someone on if they treated...

You will definitely feel like a tourist here. Ruby's has a fully-stocked grocery store, outdoor fishing goods, and auto emergency sections, however you have to hike through the massive trinket and tourist-trap area to get there. The beer selection is impressive for a National Park Lodge however Ruby's has been here since the 1920's.....just now they have a huge hotel, RV park, lodge, restaurant, and little train-like shuttles to take you throughout the maze of buildings. In the Lodge lobby there is a state-run liquor store (a closet actually) that is crammed into an 8' x 10' space. You have to let the main desk a few yards away know that you need help and as a further Utah decentive, they only take cash. Don't expect much in the way of selection, just the basics meaning Jose Cuervo is the only Tequila available. Knowing this, in the future, I will come to Utah with my own selections in hand.

I do not recommend this hotel if you drive an electric car. After returning from a day excursion, 3 of their 4 bays were blocked by gas cars and management were smug and indifferent. The hotel is not that great anyways. The rooms are ok but in need of maintenance. We had some safety concerns over the shower. Slippery floor etc. The door to our room needed slamming to close. The tub has a missing grab handle. The hot tub and pool do NOT have a usable changing room and most rooms would require a long walk through a busy parking lot, in winter, this would not be wise. There are no restaurants in Bryce City so you are forced to go to their buffet restaurant that is also, ok, not great, just ok. Overall this was not a great experience and their indifference to people diving EV's is unacceptable.
