An amazing experience. We assumed this would be a quick walk around a small building, and we were pleasantly surprised to be wrong. The volunteers give you a guided tour and explain everything in great detail. Our guide had an answer for every question and was so knowledgeable. We stayed after the tour and browsed some more, bought t-shirts and chatted with the retired firefighters outside before leaving. It was an amazing experience. Highly recommend. (It would be an amazing place for field trips and homeschool families as well.)

Really enjoyed the museum and all the artifacts and photos from different years! We had about an hour to spare and I'm really glad we stopped by. We were given a private tour and the staff answered all our questions. Highly recommended!

Thought the prices on display were interesting and historical relevance to paid and volly agencies.

However the guide my girlfriend and I had during our tour was knowledgeable he had an unsavory distrust for our government. This was towards the end of the tour, we arrived at the 911 exhibit... "what do you know about 911?" "What ever you learnes in achool is wrong." He began to say how it was a conspiracy and how there wasn't a need for the firemen there. He didn't even know 343 made their last alarm that day. I do not wish to learn your beliefs... I want to kill own...

I took my almost 5 year old grandson here today who is absolutely crazy for fire trucks. This is a small but well-stocked museum staffed by very knowledgeable retired firefighters who volunteer their time. They have turn out gear that the kids can try on and a fire truck simulator that puts them in the driver seat of a fire truck driving to a fire. It’s FREE and they have a great little gift area...
