However the guide my girlfriend and I had during our tour was knowledgeable he had an unsavory distrust for our government. This was towards the end of the tour, we arrived at the 911 exhibit... Read moreAn amazing experience. We assumed this would be a quick walk around a small building, and we were pleasantly surprised to be wrong. The volunteers give you a guided tour and explain everything in great detail. Our guide had an answer for every question and was so knowledgeable. We stayed after the tour and browsed some more, bought t-shirts and chatted with the retired firefighters outside before leaving. It was an amazing experience. Highly recommend. This is a small but well-stocked museum staffed by very knowledgeable retired firefighters who volunteer their time. They have turn out gear that the kids can try on and a fire truck simulator that puts them in the driver seat of a fire truck driving to a fire. It’s FREE and they have a great little gift area...
