This is a wonderful little market. We found it because we're waiting to pick someone up at the San Francisco airport and we needed to use a restroom so I looked up Starbucks which is just down the street actually closer than that and we decided to walk up the street a little bit and came across Burlingame farmers market and went in just to look around. What we found was a delight lots of different fresh produce some of it less expensive than some of the big markets that I go to in Santa Cruz yes you're wondering why I was here from Santa Cruz will I said that at the beginning of this we were just there to pick up somebody from the airport and we are very lucky to find this place the best thing about it was it introduced me to Turkish delight. I have never had Turkish delight, I couldn't believe how good these treats were yes there expensive but if you buy them in small amounts we tried a little bit of everything all my God this is so good. I can't believe I've gone all my life without trying Turkish delight. I will actually come back to this place so I can find out which company makes the Turkish delight. And see if I can go right to the factory, or restaurant or bakery wherever they make it I've got to see it. It is so so good anyway there's lots of other things here at this nice store they call it a farmers market because his lots of different items in here that you just can't get anywhere else great pomegranates big pomegranates and they're cheaper than most of any of your other stores so we got a couple !! Anyway if you're in this area you should really check out the store...

Went in at my lunch today purchase couple of persimmon andTangerines, Tooked a bite of persimmon it had ugly brown spots, opened one Tangerine, supposed to be organic was tasless with no flavor at all. Went back after work To exchange for something else, spoke to the cashier lady 🤔 said I don't know You talk manager. Do they really need a manager for a simple transaction? To start who hires a manager that doesn't not know single word in of English. I'm not fluent in Spanish, but was able to communicate with the Hispanic rude manager. Explained my dissatisfaction from the beginning was adamant and rude, blaming me for not checking his persimmon were called Cholate persimmon Asked him can you please show me the sign Guess what? Box Had no sign 😕 Well hello Mr. Rude manager or supervisor, kept saying no to reimburse me.
My honest opinion This business needs an experience manager that can communicate and knows how to deal with customers in a respectful way.

Read moreA nice family-run store with excellent choice of fresh vegetables and fruits, goods from European, ex-Soviet union countries. It also has a smoothie and fresh juices corner. I personally don't find California vegetables and fruits tasty, but of those you can find in locals stores, Burlingame farmers market provides the best.
Stote has two entrances - one to the Broasway street, the other to a big and inexpensive parking lot, which is highly convenient.
The best "national" store I know in the Millbrae-Burlingame area.
All fresh stuff is always fresh, nicely presented.
It's less affordable than Saffeway, obviously. I once spent 450 bucks quick and easy for two shopping buskets.
I would like to especially praise workers, and out of them, Olga, the cashier. She is always nice and professional.
Thanks to all involved. I appreciate owners' and buyers' work, too. The assortment is truly amazing.
The only thing I would love to add is fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan or Azerbaijan. They are truly...
