Village Host Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Burlingame

I’ve been wanting to stop by this place for a few days as I’m new in town. I walked in and was not greeted whatsoever. After waiting eight minutes I walked up to somebody and asked if I could order please and she said yeah.what do you want? I left my very small and easy order. She said K. I think it may fit quickly, but again it was basically a side order of bread. She had me run my card and she said thanks….

There was no, hello, no interaction, no, checking on how I’m doing or if I need anything, on my way out I thought well maybe they’ll say thank you for coming in or something friendly and there was nothing. I will give it another shot but I will say I’m disappointed at the service. I travel a ton, and I’m not experience something like this in quite a while. Everyone has a bad day, but they were absolutely rude and maybe that’s why the restaurant was completely empty. Idk it’s too bad because the prices are really fair and it really is a nice atmosphere inside but the doctor on...

Not the most authentic pizza for sure, maybe because it reminded me of pizza from back home (Lebanon), but I liked it.

The crust is thick and very doughy. The combination has almost everything on it, in a very generous way. It kinda feels like a homemade pizza, not perfect but definitely comforting. The Hawaiian pizza was also good, nothing great but again very comforting.

I personally didn't like the burger sandwich, the patty lacked seasoning and it felt small in the sandwich.

If you live nearby and want a very hearty pizza, without waiting long, in a very low key place than this place is for you. But I wouldn't drive all away to...

Pizza here is really good, I grew up visiting three of their peninsula locations. I had a terrible customer service experience last night (5/10/23) at the Broadway location. My girlfriend and I walked in at 8:35pm, I was told by a young blonde lady at the register that they had no more pizza because they close at 9 pm. I asked if I could order to go, she denied me pizza to go and made it seem as though they didn't have pizza making capabilites 25 minutes before they close... I hope management/ownership sees this review so they can be made aware that their employees conduct themselves this way and turn away business well...
