Cache City Park — Attraction in Cache

Very clean wheelchair or power scooter accessible. Perfect treat forvtoddlers.Youvhave a choice of dry playground equipment or the new splash pad.The paint has not even had time to get sun faded or dulled from age. The walkways are paved which lends the park a perfect exercise path for a power walk or jogging. This park is of a quality not often found in much larger cities. It is high quality and truly a city park that residents can be proud of.Signage gives credit for the park to the lions club although there are no gaudy statues or memorials to the organization. It has a stack of bicycles that are available for smaller children to use.There was no charge for them although it appeared that the intent was to rent the bicycles at some point in the future. There is a picnic table under cover so it would be a good spot for a lunchrmtimme picnic. Trash containers are available and are used so there is no trashy debris littering the grassy play areas. There are toilets at the edge of the parking area and it appears that they are cleaned and maintained regularly. I recommend it for a treat for kids whose good behavior warrants a treat. I visited Cache City Park on a Saturday afternoon. My kids enjoyed the splash pad and the swings. There are shaded benches at the splash pad, which was very nice! The playground equipment was too hot for the kids to play on. There is a new pickleball court! There are some picnic tables available and a covered patio area. There is a paved track around the park for walking or riding a bike. There are bikes available for "borrowing" for kids. Some of the bikes were missing tires and pedals, and, unfortunately, the bikes were scattered all over the park. Enjoy the sunshine here and the quietness here. The bathrooms need cleaning everytime I've visited but aside from that it's a great place to toss a ball and get out n burn some energy. I love the special swing here that I can swing on with my son at the same time. Nice swing to make memories and enjoy your child on.
