Awesome park but it's in Oakley. Oakley would be a great place if it wasn't for the city's "wanna be like Ritchy Rich Bel Air" complex. The police have shown me that SOME (3 out of the 3 I've dealt with) of the officers are a disrespectful group of megalomaniacs at the ready to "rough, stuff & cuff" ya in the back of there new (and pricey) SUV cruisers while ignoring or breaking your rights and our laws that are in place for a reason. I KNOW for a fact that MOST officers are extremely good, honest, just and protective people who put there lives on the line every second of the day, on or off duty for us. Read moreI had a good time we went Antioch and went on the pier it was kind of windy I'm glad I brought my jacket there was people up and down the pier fishing it was nice but the walk all the way to the end of the pier was really rough for me but I caught the first fish but you know it was just in fun it's a nice place to have picnic.They have tables where you can barbecue too they have bathrooms water faucets also. It's a good place for families to go together, go over there when it's not windy but you'll enjoy it. Read moreIt hasn't changed since they built the new (current) bridge and turned the old bridge into this wonderful fishing pier. I also remember how SCARY the old bridge was to drive over!! It was very low (to the water) and narrow, just feet above the high tide mark. It is always windy, moreover, when it rained, the two lanes literally would be lost like driving across a long, long, narrow riverbed. Just follow the car before you, or keep your eyes on the landing pilings. Of course, I was too young to drive back then, so I hid on the floor boards of the backseat making promises to God if He'd just let me live through...
