My first time and it won’t be the last . Whiskey Tango Foxtrot offers a solid dining experience, with some highs and a few notable lows. I recently had their country fried steak with eggs, paired with country-style potatoes and a Bloody Mary. The meal was very good—crispy, flavorful, and satisfying, with the Bloody Mary providing a perfect kick. The prices were fair, making it a good value for what you get. People who stop in are friendly and sometimes talkative. 😂
The bar has a military and first responders theme, but I was surprised that there was no mention of a military discount, which felt like a missed opportunity to align with their theme. The outdoor patio, while spacious, could benefit greatly from added turf and large games, which would enhance the atmosphere and make it more inviting. It’s a bit of a missed opportunity given the ample space available, which could otherwise be a perfect spot for parties. They should work with the marina owner to have more spots to pull up (assuming there’s adequate water access).
However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathroom, in particular, seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, with rusted fixtures, grime, and an unsigned cleaning log on the door—a clear sign of neglect. It felt like a public park bathroom. The unfinished koi pond (or perhaps another water feature) in front added to the sense of incompleteness, and the overflowing trash can outside didn’t help the first impression.
Despite these issues, the food was genuinely good, and the staff was incredibly helpful, though I only noticed one table cleaner and one bartender, which could explain some of the service gaps.
Overall, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot has potential with its solid food and friendly service, but it desperately needs attention to cleanliness and some thoughtful upgrades to fully deliver on...
Read moreVery nice inside, My friends introduced me And I took care of the bill. I ordered potato skins and clam chowder, He ordered a cheddar chicken bacon sandwich of some sort with toasted bread, It was untoasted and very greasy,Untoasted bread sourdough, his wife ordered a Large bacon cheeseburger with cheddar. She loved hers except said she could not bite through The Onion, She took the time out to show us it was gigantic and unchuable with her teeth and she has good teeth. My other friend said it was OK but he wouldn't order it again, Mine the clam chowder never came and I ate 2 potatoes Edible but not good. I did purchase the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot shirt and it was $54. The waiter was asking if I wanted a zip-up with a pull over, Subsequently I ask him if he had to pay for his shirt and he said yes but he got a discount, so he paid $40 for a $15 shirt and he works there. I didn't get my food, Everybody said, except me, said that the plates were oversized and overly expensive and should only be half that big and1/2 the cost, I couldn't agree more. My clam chowder once again never came even though I asked. The only Reason that I gave them 3 stars is because it was pretty nice in there and the help was pretty friendly. I spent a $126, $72 of it in food The rest was the overpriced T-shirt. I ate 2 potato skins That were not very good whatsoever, Never received the clam chowder. What. a rip off. Not sure if I wanna go there again it was nice however ultra greasy and If you like that kind of thing...
Read moreI was excited to take my friend there for her birthday. She is a bloody mary kinda girl and the photos of their loaded bloody mary looked amazing! But the whole experience, as soon as we sat down, was horrible. We opted to sit at the bar. The bartender, after a while of ignoring us said she'd be with us in a minute. We sat there and watched her serve everyone around us. Ok, couldn't tell if they were here before us, but when a gentleman arrived and walked straight to the bar she walked right passed us and took his order. Finally we ordered the loaded bloody Mary's. With attitude she said "they don't come with bacon, just shrimp " ok.. "and it's going to be 16$" ok.. The pictures show onion rings, peppers, bacon, Olives, green beans and such. This bloody mary came with 2 shrimp hanging on the side of the glass dripping water like they've been stored in water all day. I asked for napkins, she grabbed a handful and literally tossed them toward us. She left the bar so we grabbed the next server, asked for the bill, paid and left full drinks there. I will never go there again. Highly...
