Beautiful campground first come first serve basis. But, dirty bathroom walls. This is a very beautiful place very well maintained Greenlands. Just on hundred metre there is a Sacramento River very nice view early morning at the time of sunrise. Even otherwise this place is very beautiful . We spent two nights there in weekdays, there was not much rush. Camp host lady is also very helpful and nice. – Campground has toilet and showers separate for campers and separate for day users also. Though shower and toilet were working in proper condition ,toilet seat was very clean. But, toilet and shower rooms were very dirty ,lot of cob web, even outside of shower building lot of cobwebs. We requested the person there who was in charge for cleaning everything, he said we are cleaning and we are spraying several times each week. But, the reality is if he is cleaning and spraying that much cobweb cannot be there and the building cannot be so dirty. Therefore we request management to get bathroom shower building clean outside and inside. All facilities of grocery et cetera are within a mile from the camp ground. This is another plus point. We will visit and stay there again and again. You also must stay and visit there. Laba

This isn't the cleanest place to come to, but there are many different places to fish on the shore. There's a trail leading to a beachy fishing area on a bend. There is a fee for day use, camping, and boat ramp use. We paid $6 for the day use. Besides the active boats on the water, it's an enjoyable new fishing spot. It's not busy on land at all. There's plenty of parking in the month of April.

Ranger, Gabriel, is awesome! The park was empty and we were able to get our 40’ 5th wheel into site #10! Bathrooms were cold so we took a shower in the rig. Water and electric was $45/night. A bit high, but if you are in to fishing it is right on the river and there is a boat launch.

Rude Awakenings-- If you are making an escape from San Francisco like I was, consider a different destination. I made a reservation online and studied the map carefully. When I arrived, it was well after dark and the road on the map was closed (despite being assured on the phone that it did not close). Not wanting to disturb the sleeping, I turned towards day parking and popped up my tiny tent in a far corner. I was awakened at 6am by some voice warning me I shouldn't camp there. It was now light out; I found the camp host who oriented me to my paid site location. Turns out that I paid for a large parking spot with a picnic table and no space to set up a tent, despite it being designated a tent site online. Fortunately, there was a large grassy field behind me, so I set up there to sleep more. I was awakened AGAIN, this time by giant lawnmowers circling my tiny tent, at around 10am. Considering that checkout time is NOON, one would think that more consideration would be in order, especially for the whopping $37 I paid for this lousy tent site. Skip this park and pay $15 more for a hotel room, unless you have an RV. Lots of RVs here, one with neurotic little barking dogs in cages. I would give 1 star except the showers were hot and the camp host was cool. Never...
