Jameson’s On 5th — Restaurant in Colusa

Food: Didn't have any. Glad I didn't.

Service: Bartender didn't know how to make a Old Fashion and tried giving me some random drink. Then he asked me, "How do you make old fashions?" So I asked for a Washington Apple, then he told me "We don't have Cranberry Juice".

Atmosphere: Tried playing music on their Touch Tunes and they overrid their system and skipped my music because it was in spanish. I didn't believe it the first time, but when I played a second and a third song... It played for a few seconds before they were skipped (photo only shows two songs) and completely turned it down. We are from out of the area so we were looking for a bar with a nice atmosphere where we could talk and enjoy each other’s company. This was the perfect place. There were only a few other people plus the bartender but everyone was fun and playing music.

We did have a bit of hard time finding this place. I didn’t notice a sign outside advertising Jameson’s on 5th. I noticed a sign in the window saying Sportsmen Club so we decided to check it out. It wasn’t until we got inside that I saw a neon sign on the far wall saying...

A nice little stop on our dive bar tour of the surrounding area. Great ambiance with that classic dive bar appeal. A lot of old historic photos hanging on the walls that tells the story of its long and a rich history. The bartender tells me it's under new ownership and has undergone a recent remodel. The place looks great! Likely a fun place to spend a couple hours. We were just passing through but glad we had an opportunity to stop in and hang out for a couple of drinks. We...
