Was in town with family, but I'm more the historic sites person rather than a casino person. Easy public transportation to the town of Pala. I found this really informative space/museu.. They were under some slight construction (hence some exhibits had to be moved around), but really meaningful to learn this aspect of Cupeño & Luiseño history. Naliya at the front desk was very helpful, I even bought a Pa'enexily alphabet book (cash only!). I met Ana who taught me about the Pa'enexily language as well. And Sheila, who I think was part of the Cupa Council/governance. Very grateful to have this space here and I highly recommend all come to learn about and support...
