Great Dry Creek Winery. Nice variety of red and whites. The usual suspects such as Chardonnay, Sauv Blanc, but also some unusual Italian variatals (estate grown) that are not found at other Sonoma County wineries. I'd highly recommend David Caffaro Winery

Amazing location, wine and people. Came for barrel tasting and left with great finished wines and futures. Looking forward to visiting again.

Visited first time in 2023 passport event. The winery went all out - theme, music, amazing food pairing.

Coffaro Wines is a family-run winery of the type that used to dominate the Russian River Valley. David Coffaro's specialty is blending and he has an uncanny ability to put together winning wines from exceptional grapes, both estate grown and locally purchased. Finished wines are available for purchase, but the best deal by far (if you have the patience) is to purchase futures in the Spring (prices are usually announced in April or May) for delivery about 15 months later. These are sold at a substantial discount to the retail and the bang for the buck is enormous, since these are top-shelf wines. The majority of their offerings are red, but they've often put together a white or two, and the occasional (and delicous) Rosé. Informal, unstuffy, and highly...

Coffaro wines are affordable and they're better priced if part of the wine club. Small tasting room which has been redone but not much to look at. Fabulous petite sirah and carignane - my favs. Gave 4 stars because their server is a young female who doesn't offer any information whatsover about the wines. She pours and stands there. The wines do sell for themselves but it helps to the overall wine tasting experience having someone who knows about Coffaro wines and can share knowledge about what goes into the wine making process and various other wine...

Great, small, family-operated vineyard. Excellent service and delicious wine. Edit 9/26/17: Since my original review, I've had the opportunity to chat via email and telephone with both David and Pat. They are both wonderful people and have a passion for making jammy, fruit-forward wine that is incredibly drinkable and priced so "normal folks" can afford to share in their delicious creation. Definitely stop at this winery if you are in the Dry Creek valley doing tours. They will be on your short list of wine...
