My partner and I use the speech a lot as it put in for a kayak trip to Guerneville River park. It is a great paddle and there is enough parking at steelhead to get a spot as long as you're there before 10 a.m. the park is beautiful and they have compressed air to fill up other inflatables. How lucky we are to live so close to the beautiful Russian River with all of its wildlife. I have seen otters, eagles, several types of night heron, and even seals. This is also a great park for a family picnic there are lots of picnic tables and many of them have shade. But again it's all about the time you get there. It is a very...

Went tubing down the river with some friends over the weekend. What a great day! Bring a floating/waterproof bag for snacks and drinks (and sunscreen!) and just enjoy.

The time estimate (4.5h) is accurate, even though on the map the distance looks short.

Toward Sunset beach there's a bridge where people were swinging and jumping in the water, and the jumpers and floaters were all having fun as one big group. Being on the river there weren't many phones out, just a nice time among strangers.

Bring water shoes and a healthy dose of "figure it out"ism. The terrain is yearly malleable and changes frequently but it's a great spot too launch kayaks canoes and inflatable from. This year (25) the slope into the river was steep but the green water was clean and the temp was fantastic. Get here early if you want beachfront but some exploration will net you your own private sanctuary if you're lucky and early enough to...

The beech was nice and clean, and the service offered at the parking lot was great. There is not alot of space to sit and set up canopies, so getting early will do the trick here . All and all a great experience.

Great place to bring your pup for an on leash hike near Guernville. To enter the park, you have to pay $7.00 fee. There are a couple of trails that run adjacent to Russian River. Very tranquil.
