Steelhead Beach — Attraction in Forestville

Really easy place to put in in the mornings - we were there at around 11am in late March and had the place mostly to ourselves. From the little turnaround by the beach where you drop off your boats to where you put them in the water, it’s less than 100 feet. It took us less than 60 seconds to walk from the turnaround to where we put in.

Seems like there’s plenty of parking but we’ve not been here in the summer.

Its a shame the locals cant use the boat ramp during the summer. The only way to access the river is to carry your boat a long distance. I use a small raft so i can take my 3yo and wife.
