Wow! Where do I begin!? This property is absolutely stunning, giving you lots of options for your ceremony and reception locations. We ended up choosing it as our venue over a few other top contenders because it has this beautiful barn that we could use in case it rained. Well, there was light rain all day on our wedding day and yet our hearts were still set on an outdoor ceremony, if at all possible. We made the final ceremony location decision hours before the ceremony and the venue was very accommodating and flexible. While guests sat holding umbrellas in the light misty rain, we said our vows under the beautiful fig tree and it felt magical, memorable and romantic. I was originally fearful of the nearby freeway being a distraction but the day of, no one seemed to notice it, including myself. The reception inside the barn was breathtaking and all our guests keep raving about how beautiful everything was! What is most special about this venue is the people who work there. Molly, the venue manager, was the absolute sweetest, most accommodating and flexible person to work with. She was a huge part in us deciding on this venue because she was so helpful from the start. The site rep, Lindee, was so supportive the day of, helping calm my nerves, helping us around the property and supporting us in all of our decisions and needs. Given the weather and our gamble to hold the ceremony outside anyways, my dress got a little muddy after the ceremony. After giving my husband and I a moment to ourselves, both Lindee and Molly, along with my husband, took wipes to the bottom of my dress to try and get some of the mud off. Honestly, that kind of service and dedication is unreal and speaks volumes about their commitment to making everything as perfect as possible! Everything turned out amazing and we are so thankful we chose Camarillo Ranch as our venue!

This is a lovely historic home. It's not very old (built 1893, which is a few decades after our family home) by many historical ideas but for California, that's pretty old. They clearly updated everything in like 1915-28 teen-thru-twenties period based on the latches and make of the cabinetry but it's a lovely place. Lots of family history remains and that's always what makes a place interesting. They get a bit nervous with kids and tried talking in code about doing the tour different because we had a 6 year old but this 6yo is super sharp so knew just what they meant. She was fine but still can't get over that the play room for kids was in an attic she couldn't see. But she was thrilled by the doll houses, including one she could play with! The TREES! You need to see these unique and massive trees. You probably never saw these types and certainly not this variation in one place. It's lovely.

Great wedding venue! The only required vendor is their catering which has so so many options and was delicious! We used the barn and a little outside area for the cocktail hour and they let us have access to a room in the main house where we could keep our stuff, had a private restroom and vanity to touch up make up. Everyone was very nice and easy to work with while planning everything and they have excellent vendor recommendations. Which we used All Occasions event planning and In thr Mix events. We booked the ranch for our wedding day and I can't tell you how many of our guests came up to us & told us how awesome the venue was! When my "now" husband and I took a tour of the site, we fell in love and didn't need to look anywhere else. It was perfect in so many ways! The space is so large that the opportunities are endless. We used the whole venue. Our ceremony was held on the East Lawn with the gorgeous gazebo as a backdrop. My bridesmaids, flower girls and I got ready in the bridal suite within the Victorian home which was soooo cute and beautifully decorated! We were able to safely keep our personal belongings in the suite during the ceremony & reception by having one of the Staff Members lock up the room. That was a big plus! The West & Front Lawn we used for cocktail hour and because of how much space there is, we were able to have lawn games like corn hole, can jam, and others for all of our guests to enjoy. The big red barn is where we had our reception and it was truly magical! So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to and I'm positive having it at the Ranch played a big part in that! Jasmine, the event manager I was in contact with during the whole planning process was always so sweet, clear, and prompt. She even left me a nice personal note in my bridal suite on my wedding day and it really meant a lot. I am so happy we had our wedding here & recommend this venue to any couple looking to have their perfect...
