Village Cafe — Restaurant in Camarillo

This place is so delicious every time and the staff is super friendly! I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while. It’s wonderful to have a place to get a bite out in The Village at the Park Area. The prices seem a little high at first, but for the quality and ammount of food are worth it. I love that the meals come with chips or fruit. The type of fruit rotates and some is better than others, but that’s my only critique. Every meal I’ve ordered has been super fresh and the salsa is absolutely amazing. The coffee is wonderful and pastries are super good too. Village Cafe is a small café with a small menu, but the food is really good, and the staff are super friendly. We got a couple of California breakfast burritos, and they were excellent. They scramble bacon with eggs and roll that with fried potatoes, avocado and pico de gallo in a spinach tortilla. I did not expect the fruit cup on the side, which was delicious - perfectly ripe pineapple, grapes and cantaloupe. They do a good job with espresso drinks, too. You get your latte in a paper cup, but it's yummy.
