Hearst Castle Welcome Sign — Attraction in Cambria

Went on 3 of the 4 tours offered back in the summer of '83.' The only tour my family skipped was the 'Wine-Cellar.' We were only there for the weekend and ran out of time. Not even sure if this tour is still available. But WOW! What a couple of tour's it was. Hearst actually held celebrity tennis tournaments there. Very enjoyable however we thought it would be a lot more spruced up for the holidays and since it's not really I suggest going on the daylight. You can't bring anything but water to drink but I recommend doing just that. Half way through we were all pretty parched so I wished I had a different choice other than our cocktail 🍸;). So...

Very beautiful ranch and the castle was splendid with its collections of fine arts and architecture. Although it was raining heavily and we didn't have enough time visiting the outdoors, the grand room tour was worth visiting...
