Before covid my 88 yr old parents came t to visit from El Paso TX. I drove them and my sister's to San simeon. I took some steaks to grill by the 🌴 beach. They absolutely loved it, they lived in Burbank for 18 years back in the 1990s, but they hadn't been up north except to Santa Rosa where my boy's and I lived for 3 yrs. They definitely enjoyed Napa Valley as well, they had the opportunity to enjoy the many beautiful 🍷 winerys, I also drove them back to Bodega Bay which of course is a sight to see. Sam Simeon is perfect to grill and relax after enjoying a delicious steak, it's small and usually not super packed. The restrooms are clean and the walk to the beach and Pier are close by to enjoy. The place has a nearby Museum for for the tourists with detailed info about the sea life at this place. The location also has tables at least 10 to come in and enjoy the any picnics or food that you have brought.
