Curtis Lighthouse Overlook — Attraction in Camden

We vacationed in Maine in November and visited some lighthouses. Google will get you to this overlook but you might drive past it like we did because we were looking for a parking lot and an obvious viewing point. Then we saw the sign. That’s no parking lot but there is a small pull off area for one or two cars. The trail to the overlook is tucked between houses. I enjoyed my visit to the Curtis Lighthouse Overlook. The view was beautiful and I really enjoyed it. However, parking was really difficult as there are only two parking spots on the side of the road. I was grateful to be wearing the right outdoor gear as there were loads of ticks and I even spotted a snake. Traces of Brown Tail Moths as well. This lighthouse means a lot to my fiancée and I since we got engaged here! The path to the overlook is easily missed because the sign is quite small and you drive through a residential area. My fiancée and I passed it a few times until we finally found it. Remember there is very little parking at the entrance to the lighthouse.
