Awesome tour! It was only $5 and we were there a good 2 hours. The Museum Director/Tour Guide (Danny) had a lot of interesting stories about the house, the families who lived there, the furnishings and the overall history of Camden. It was a great way to spend a Saturday morning.

Growing up in Camden, I had never been to the Chidester House. We decided to go. Ryan was our tour guide. He is definitely what made it fun and interesting. What a great guy. Really enjoyed visiting with him. Whoever's idea it was to hire him, I would tell them good job!

I moved from Camden 20 yrs ago and It has been years since I took a tour, I even showed up early because I can remember how hot is was due to no A/C, pleasantly surprised the home now has A/C. Tour wasn't rushed and the guide, Danny was awesome and patient. My 88 yr old mother went with us and he did everything possible to make her comfortable and easy access. Great experience!
