What a cute neighborhood park! On my visit, the water feature was off due to the drought. There was still plenty to do there. You can park on the streets next to the park for free. The whole park is very well kept up. They had some guys freshening up the landscaping and taking care of the restrooms today. Public bathrooms were clean and stocked. There's a lot of shade and various benches in the shade. There's an even, grassy field with lines for soccer, but no goal posts. We enjoyed the playground, sand pit, and walking around the park.

Our favorite park in the south bay not because of just the water works or structures but the actual people culture of families that play here. No matter how great the area you should still not leave valuable belongings around and keep an eye open on things. Many picnic areas with tree coverage and bathrooms are close to the play areas for toddlers who don’t hold their number 1 well.

The renovations are finally complete...and it's clear someone who didn't have kids was in charge. The new play structure is fine, though it's labeled as for up to age 11 (my 12 year old was a bit too big for everything).

The real fail, however, was the removing the swings and replacing them with baby and toddler swings only...my kids were not the only ones trying to figure out how to still make use of them.

Lastly, they replaced the sand in all sections but one with tanbark...in a WATER park...where little ones are all running around barefoot and wet...so now splinters are on the menu too.

These "upgrades" have made our evening walks a whole lot...

Park gone from being OK to mediocre. Play structure was boarded up for one year and fenced for another. Opened just this weekend to our disappointment. Swings for older kids are gone. New structure is very old skewl, mediocre at best.

Dont seem to undèrstand why a one month project took more than a year and came out to be a big disappointment.

Only good thing about all of the structure is the water play area that is useful only 2 months in a year and the benches under shady tree.

Also dont like the fact that so many dog owners unleash their pets and let them run around the entire park. No enforcement. Often see pet poop on the walk around the...

For its size it's a very good park. Very nice playground and a good amount of open grass space. Big old trees. The big hill is a nice feature, and the treeline separates it from the busy street nearby.

Didn't check the bathroom, but at least it's there if you need it. Likewise I can't rate the water feature because it wasn't running (cold weather, I assume).

Doesn't go above and beyond: no designated athletic spaces (basketball courts, soccer fields) and no special features apart from the big hill and water. Could use some of the inclusive structures seen at other parks in the area.

Still, it's a fun and...
