Cruise Terminal #8 Parking — Attraction in Cape Canaveral

BEWARE!! Do not park if you intend on needing to pick up your car after hours. My wife and I were led to believe that we could simply pick up our car after our flight back home from an MSI one way cruise. To our horror, we arrived back only to find that security had no access to allow us to retrieve our car. The website does not state anywhere that customers would not be able to pick up there cars after hours. Do not make the same mistake and look for other options. We will never book another cruise out of Port Canaveral.

Update: We came the following day to pick up our car and upon arrival we were told they could not open the gate to do a simple drop off and our driver would have to pay $17. Tracy was extremely rude, walking away and telling us to look at our receipt. We showed the receipt, and told her there were no instructions and she said that wasn’t the right receipt. We then exited the vehicle and took out our belongings, I asked Tracy if she could help our driver back out she said “don’t ask me questions if you see I’m already doing it”. When the manager came I proceeded to walk over to him to talk to him, but he rudely and aggressively told me to “stop” and when I simply stated I wanted to talk to him, he said there was nothing to talk about. When I asked for his name he said he doesn’t need to talk to me. I would advise any potential travelers to make arrangements with other parking options. These individuals, clearly do not possess an ounce of customer service and are not concerned with providing any sort of rational problem solving. Incredibly easy experience. This is the Disney garage, however owned/operated/secured by the port authority. Once you drop your bags you pull in the garage, swipe your credit card on the kiosk (amount is already pre-set to your cruise length) and you head up to find a spot. Park on any level and you can take the elevators to level 3 for access to the terminal via skybridge or down to level 1 to cross the road into the terminal. Both options are quick and easy. Upon departure, head right up the escalator or elevator back to the garage and you can head right out. No need to see attendant or pay, just drive right out. It's pricier than off-port parking but it's all about convenience when you are...

Confusing where to go , they direct you to check your bags (we didn't have checked bags). Elevator out of order in the parking deck. There was a malfunction that the gate did not open after we paid. The employee hops over and then presses the call button for help. No one ever answers.

We waited at least 10 minutes for the supervisor to open the gate with the key!
