I have either been employed there given golf lessons or enjoyed some of the best practice ranges on the Crystal coast for the past 30 years! (Wow) time Flys. First, the owners who I know personally are truly good people. Second, even now that I have to pay for balls for the past 7 or 8 years, I can't remember any employee ever being anything but courteous and helpful. The Golfin Dolphin is the only full-length lighted driving range that has real grass and (covered)mats to hit from. The design was kinda genius. Think of a baseball field, but you hit balls from the outfield to home plate. This keeps people from knocking each other out, but allows you to see or watch other golfers swing. Distances are marked every 50 yards (150 feet) they even have an old plane and bus to aim at. I believe it you wanted a golf lesson. you're definitely in the right area. Two of the best teachers, former head pro of Star Hill Golf course Master class A pro Mick Brown and current class A Head Pro and General Manager of Star Hill Golf course Carl Beaman. Prices are fair, and golfers know what I mean when the range balls still have life in them. Parking is free. The spaces are nice and wide, and...
Read moreWe had gone to this place years ago and it was a great experience. Not so much this time. We went there to play mini golf and we ended up there because the other places were too crowded. I was shocked at how run down it was! Half the lighter on the course were out. The course itself was not well maintained. The pool where the bumper boats used to be was empty and the liner was all ripped up. The chain link fence by the now defunct bumper boats pool was rusty and falling down. The batting cages are inoperable. I don't know if they still have go carts because I didn't go on that side of the park but I would imagine if they do, they are just as run down as the rest of the place. The only thing that looked halfway decent was the bowling alley. Otherwise it is a dump. The only redeeming quality is that there wasn't a line, for good reason. I can't imagine this place being open next year. We had fun playing there but the place...

I've come here sporadically over a number of years. This is beside Mac Daddy's and is the golfing part of the entertainment complex.
Has a driving range, go-karts, mini golf, and the Sky Trail thing (ropes course). I did the mini golf this go-round and it is comparably priced to courses in this area at $10 per person. Kids 4 and under are free, so great for families. It's a decent course.
My qualm with it is that there are several holes where you can lose your ball very easily into water and won't be able to retrieve it. You would have to go back and get a new ball. I saw this several times on a few holes and this held up the flow. Basically some of the walls of these holes aren't tall enough. Aside from that, it's ok.
Of course there are snacks, drinks, etc for you to purchase. Staff is friendly and...
