Cape Coral Museum of History — Attraction in Cape Coral

If I could leave a 0 star rating, I would. Despite checking the website and the answering machine saying that the museum was open from 10 am -2 pm, the door was locked. Someone was inside the building because the lights were on and there were cars were in the parking lot. No response after knocking on the door. I just wish the staff or volunteer working would have posted a sign on the door indicating there was a change with operating hours. I’m just left with the impression that someone didn’t want to interact...

We watched a brief video about the early years of Cape Coral and were then led on a tour through two of their buildings by a docent who has lived in the Cape a long time. They have enough stuff here that you could easily spend hours if you wanted to read everything. There's also a research library. Also a nice little gift shop. 2 hours far from closing. This ladies looked annoyed when I knock on the door, afterwards they were polite and told me that they were not opened. So I sat on the parking lot for a few minutes. 2 gentleman entered the museum and apparently had a different answer bcs they were still inside 15 minutes after entering.
