This review encompasses the experiences from several programs and parks in the area including The summer camp programs at oasis elementary, sun splash and cape coral art center. So far my 8 year old daughter has attended 3 summer camp programs run by cape coral parks and rec, all 3 were positive experiences. She went to a summer camp at oasis elementary in 2019, this one featured field trips to various locations like a roller skating rink, skyzone etc. she had a wonderful time. In summer 2021 she attended cape coral art centers camp for 2 weeks and sunsplash camp for 2 weeks and both programs were well run. My daughter also frequents the area parks with her grandmother often. Some parks are better than others but overall very little to complain about. Cape coral parks and rec has done a very good job from our experiences. Additionally the fourth of July Red White and Boom fireworks are the best display I have ever seen, including the Disney ones.

I recently had my son in the city of Cape Coral parks and Rec VPK program. I strongly encourage any parent even considering this facility for their child to attend VPK , DONT! You will surely be very disappointed in their lack of meeting educational needs, patience with the young children as well as a serious lack of communication with the parent. It was a learning experience as my two older children attended VPK programs at day care facilities. I’m disgusted with the way The VPK program runs things and their directors and staff really should not be running any type of education facilities for such young minds. PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE and save yourself and your child the hassle, stress and heartache that goes along with the trust you pass along to the city of Cape Coral Park & Rec VPK program. They should be banned from taking tax dollars and mistreating the...

One of their employees in truck # 28833 hit my car in a parking lot. I attempted to wave him down but he fleed from the accident. I attempted 2 more times to let him know what happened but he just kept driving. I then called the police and made a report of a hit and run.

I called the office of Parks and Recreation for two days and finally reached someone on the third day. I spoke to the manager to make a complaint and to let him about his employee. He somehow shifted the blame to me and never once asked to fix my vehicle. He said due to him being in a truck maybe he didn't know he hit me but this is not acceptable.

I am very disappointed on what happened and how nothing was done to fix...
