On a Google search, it says this place is permanently closed! That information is wrong! I walked the entire Trail and it is in good shape! It was an enjoyable walk and the views were wonderful! You can climb down parts of the cliff to get close to the water. Wildflowers decorate parts of the trail. You can see different species of waterfowl. It is not wheelchair accessible, but you can bring a stroller. There are no trash cans so it is carry in /carry out. I recommend this Trail!

We drove 5 hours to try to see sunset at the light house. There is nowhere in website indicate this place has a gate to get in and it’s closed 20 minutes before dawn! We are very upset and frustrated. 5 hours driving...
