It is imperative and with great pleasure that I give honor and praise to the staff at SIU. it has been a very inviting experience. At the open house, I had the great pleasure of meeting Mr. Wendell Williams. Mr. Wendell went out of his way to make sure my daughter and I got the help needed to make an unknown experience an awesome one. Also, Crystal, Julie Strauss, and Mr. McGoy was phenomenal. They all made sure we were well informed about the programs, housing, campus life, and safety concerns addressed. This experience was very inspirational, informative, and genuine. December 5th, 2019. Another edge on your seat Basketball game against St. LOUIS UNIVERSITY whom were on a six game winning streak. Until they played the DAWGS! We were there for my son's graduation. The facility itself is nice. The reason I only have two stars is based on how they handled the crowd after the event. They dedicated at least two of the stair cases for graduates to come up. This left us to walk through a very crowded passageway at least one third, if not half way around the building. The first exit we could get to was not near our parking space. I don't remember them blocking staircases after a graduation...
