Carlsbad State Beach — Attraction in Carlsbad

Carlsbad Beach. What can I possibly say? It is absolutely, positively, beyond a shadow of a doubt, my favorite Beach anywhere on the West Coast. I go to Carlsbad 4 to 5 times a year and regardless of the weather I have to go to Carlsbad Beach. I moved to Texas so every opportunity I have to get back home I take it! This beach is a great spot to hangout, walk, run, surf, play volleyball, or just watch amazing sunsets! The walkway along the beach has multiple levels and several miles of distance, which makes it a perfect place to stroll up and down the beach. Beach was not crowded, probably because it was a weekday. But the water was beautiful. The sand was clean. The lifeguards were monitoring and keeping people away from the rocky areas.
