We have gone to numerous performances at this theater and have enjoyed them all. We were at a cover performance of James Taylor by Steve Leslie just Friday. A huge wind thunder storm went through and knocked out power about 30 minutes into the show. After sitting for 20 minutes with no power Steve came out unplugged his acoustic guitar and did the rest of his show with nothing but his guitar and his drummer doing back up singing and sound effects vocals in the dark, nothing but emergency lights to illuminate the stage. Read moreFinding this theatre was EASY! Just watch for all the FLAGS out front. There was parking on the side streets, and a gravel parking lot in the back. We attended to see the Hughes Brother perform (we like them in Branson and this is much closer). Bonus is the parking lot is much flatter here than in the theatre in Branson!
The Hughes Brother show itself was just as high a quality as they have in Branson. It wasn't sized down for a small town. Costumes were colorful and MOST of the family traveled with them. Watching the Hugher's brothers' kids perform is quite entertaining and a joy to know that the next generation is ready to take over when their dads are...
