Tacos: "The tacos were the star of the show! We tried the carne asada, al pastor, fish tacos, and each one was bursting with flavor. The tortillas were warm, soft, homemade and the toppings were fresh and well-balanced.

Seafood Dish: "We also ventured into their seafood selection and were not disappointed.

Value: "The prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. We felt we got excellent value for our money."

Update Returned today - asked for two cheese with meat dips....received both with only one bag of chips.

Asked for another bag of chips and they charged me $2.07. (1.90 plus tax and CC fees)

Delicious Latino food. Can cook off the menu and very good servings. Tex-Mex no problem, South America Oh Yea! Nice variety of beers. Very spacious seating and looks like a banquette offsetting the main dinning area. They have expanded to Macomb IL., I have not tried it there yet. Clean areas, friendly attentive staff. Los Charros was the only place open on a Tuesday in the early evening in Carthage and we were all hungry tourists; so that's where we dined. It seems like a subdued Mexican dinner, but it was actually very good and satisfying. The place was filled. The service was prompt and efficient, however the servers should try to be a bit friendlier with the public. There was no polite banter with the visiting crowd. The food was great!
