Well i thought i found a winner until my visit today. This was my 4th time coming here. The owner is very joking. He is very pushy and bossy but i did not let that hender me. The first time he did my nails and they were decent. The 2nd time he was not there so a lady did my nails. She was better. 3rd time leo did my nails. He was my favorite. So i came again on a wed hoping he would be there as i was told they dont take appts. Well he was not there. I got a pedicure and eyebrow wax. It was decent but not impressive. Then i was given to some young guy to do my nails. I thought nothing of it because everyone else seemef to have disappeared. I needed a fullset because i took to long to get a fill. Anyway he was inexperienced and i said something to him. He said i will look pretty when i leave if not free for me. I was in his chair over an hour over!!! He had the nerve to tell me how tired he was working on my nails. Then he cut me while filing. My names had glue everywhere my nails were lopsided. I was coaching him the whole way thru. I asked for round, my nails were all different shapes. He wanted to charge me 35 for a fullset of short nails. I told him i was not paying that. Then the manager who did my nails before. He got involved. I remained calm but i wanted to raise...!!!! Anyway i tried to explain my dissatisfaction and the ower cut me off and told me i either pay or hes cutting my nails off. I went thru a lot and finally was willing to pay 20 for the fullset and 5 for the multiple colors. In addition to the 35 i was paying for my eyebrows and pedi. Long story short the guy refused to paint my nails the owner painted my nails and told me not to come back because he is done with me. Wow! Then proceeds to ask me what shape did i get. I wrote a review one year ago, but things have changed since then. I've had several issues with this nail salon over the past few months. The one guy that has been doing my nails for the last 3 months is no longer with the salon. The issue that I have is with the woman that works at station number seven. Any time she does my nails I have to micro manage her, which is why I avoided going to her recently until today. I requested a french manicure which was very difficult for her to do. She does not properly apply acrylic and file nails the way they should be. She left nail polish residue around my nails and also did not line up the white tips. She had to redo some of my nails. I had to coach her into how to do my nails step by step. Because I had to micromanage her (the woman that sits at station number seven) I did not leave her a tip. Please go to someone that you trust as opposed to just having anyone do your nails. I will never go back to this salon because not only am I not pleased with the service here, but they also don't take appointments. They are walk-in only and I no longer want just anyone to do my nails. This salon has lost me as a customer. I was a faithful customer for three years now. I will now receive service elsewhere. If I could give ZERO STARS I would. Absolutely terrible experience! My nails started chipping while I was still in the salon, and by the time I left, the polish was already lifting off. I ended up having to take it all off. I went back the next day hoping they would make it right, but they did the bare minimum only fixing the nails with no polish left and ignoring the chipped ones. On top of that, one of the managers made an extremely inappropriate racial comment. Because I had chosen white nails, he pointed at my skin and said “black,” then pointed at my nails and said “white.” This was offensive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I first walked in asking for a manicure with tips, he refused and said because I didn’t specifically say “full set,” they couldn’t do it.
