Cemetery Point Boardwalk — Attraction in Cedar Key

Park on the inland waters of Cedar Key, picnic tables, walking paths improved and unimproved, observation deck, long boardwalk on the water through some Marsh areas. Designated fishing area. Always clean and neat, quiet and peaceful. There is a well marked fitness trail. There is not a lot of parking, at the entrance There is one handicapped spot and enough for maybe two more cars, if drive further in lot of people park in the cemetery area and pass through the gates? I park back there, no one has ever complained.other than that, well...

I love this little place. Nice park with boardwalk and playground equipment. Also has a bathroom but it's a vault toilet. There's also exercise things in the park. This park is adjacent next to the cedar key cemetery. Nice place to come and look for birds or throw a fishing line. There are a few parking spots at the entrance of the cemetery and you can walk the boardwalk to the park or you can pull off the road in the cemetery and walk back. Lots of birds and other wildlife so please dispose of your trash...

This cemetery is a tribute to those gone before us. My husband and I walked the boardwalk and then walked back through the cemetery. We assume it was hit hard by the hurricanes, but it was heartbreaking at the amount of American Flags we picked up and placed correctly at graves. We also cleaned up debris and trash scatted around the space. I truly hope someone is able to go in and provide maintenance and groundskeeping to such a...
