This is a neat little walk that is fairly simple to take a stroller or wagon ride on for little ones -or a wheelchair for handicapped accessibility. The rocky beach area on the other side of the creek is just about the only area you can't get to without walking. It is full of wildlife, boardwalks, a little history area, and of course, some good ol' splashing areas (beaches) by the river. Read moreThis is a little gem of a place for younger kids, say... Age 3 to 9. They can play in the water and there are shallow areas and rock bridges. It is like a mini hike, but also all paved. Similar vibe to Cherry Creek but free and smaller. The water doesn't stink (although I'd definitely bathe the kids afterwards). Bring a change of clothes because it's hard to keep them out of the water! We also brought water shoes since we worry about broken glass in the water. We didn't encounter any though. Read moreReally nice place most of it's all natural it's a nice walk and a few different trails right behind a bunch of residential neighbroad oh definitely love the river just going down there finding a nice little spot you can put your feet in the sand it's like a little beach it's all natural not much shade or cover from the Sun so you need to be aware that and stay hydrated but everything I saw while I was there was just on point very nice I went there early got a good parking I would definitely advise coming here on a very hot day to cool down Wonderful for grounding...
