Maps doesn't get you all the way there. Turn on Paddington and park on London Towne Rd. From there, go forward to the sidewalk alongside 29. A stone's throw along that sidewalk you'll see the real entrance and several historical markers.
It's a good trail for walking and hiking, though much of it is very un-shaded and hot. There is a small "ford" area where you can wade across beside the bridge. If there is any other creek access along the trail, we didn't go far enough to find it.

Not all the surrounding streets have non-resident street parking so read the signs in the area.
