Morrissey Park*
Morrissey Park, from dawn to dusk, with a multi-use path enjoyed by all, rewards its visitors in various ways. If you ride through here, please take it slow, not just for safety’s sake, but to afford yourself time for friendly exchange with others so charmed by peace arisen from design and usage. Hail walker and cyclist, or any one else you may meet along its way.
As for me, I ride it all summer, long into fall, when weather makes its passage pleasant and passing gives way to imagination and reflection.
I appreciate the gentle rise of green westward: in winter, it doubles as a sledding spot for young ‘uns.
On the north side, a playground gives those same kids outlet for energetic play.
In the center, if you come early to the courts, you may get a few sets in before a league, school, or private-lesson practitioner encamps for an afternoon of forehand drills and avid contests.
The south, east and west, provide shade, bench and table for picnic or conversation. Bring a book or pad, sip bottled tea and eat an apple--all these options are magnified within its gentle boundaries.
Morrissey Park, from dawn to dusk, peaceful in daytime and pleasant to walk.

Wonderful people walking dogs and taking a morning stroll through the neighborhood. Give it a try you might like it as...
