8/15/2020 Fitness Premiere of Champaign. The gym is awesome - well equipped, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. And so is the personnel there, very responsive to my questions in person or phone during office hours or email at other times. Being older, I have distinct training needs. These are being consistently addressed in a way that is very appropriate to my fitness level, interests and personality. The staff shows dedication at every turn. I am greatly enjoying my training there because of tremendous competence of the trainers and meticulous upkeep of every piece of equipment and cleanliness of every corner of the facility.    Read moreWas leery about trying a new place in a new town. Very clean gym with modern equipment. Staff when on duty is very helpful and knowledgeable about equipment and fitness routines. If I could ding one thing, the phone answering during staffed hours leaves a little to be desired and the option on the voice mail thing are slightly confusing as it takes ya to another answering point that doesn’t identify themselves as being affiliated or in partnership with fitness premier, and they immediately start asking personal info after saying “we have your phone number and associated account”. (1) Protocols were not followed during pandemic; tried to contact manager and never heard back; was not able to use club for several months due to people not respecting mask mandates and utter disregard by management. (2) Difficult to cancel -- called several times and kept getting redirected. I no longer live in the town and was asked to fly back to the town to cancel. A month later and after being charged one extra month, I was able to cancel by spending another hour looking for ways to cancel. Refused to refund me for the extra month charged.
