Dollar General — Attraction in Chapman

It's nice to see them upgrading their store, having fresh produce is a wonderful thing. The store is nice and clean, and easy to shop, it's very easy to go up and down the aisles and find the things that you want and need for decent prices. However the customer service is a kind of lacking, I stood in line for 10 minutes while one employee stood there and noticed a line but unfortunately because there was only one lane open, he continued to do what he was doing. I feel like the customer service could be a little bit better but overall the store is really great, I just wish that the Associates would do something when they see that there is a line of people wanting to go home after a long day of work. Overall my experience here is pretty decent, I like the things they have, I enjoy shopping here and seeing fresh produce and I like the prices. There's lots of fun finds at the dollar store, definitely worthy of checking out, but I'd like to try different locations and see if every location is the same...

Just got charged $17 for what was advertised for $12.50 AGAIN... Always, always check your receipts when you shop at this particular Dollar General. 9 times out of 10 they are selling items well above the posted price and then when you ask them to figure it out they act like they are doing you some huge favor by assisting you, which usually involves them running around the store with calculators for 10-15 minutes. We've been here numerous times and overall the service is mostly friendly and attentive. Every so often you have to find someone to check out, but the self checkout they recently installed is nice if you're in a hurry. Store is always clean...
