We went to pick our own honey crisp apples on a chilly Saturday. It sounded like a fun thing to do with my great nephews and their mother. While it was fun we got badly ripped off. On a whim from a theory I had, I decided to see if their $30 price was a deal as it should have been. NOPE. I bought 2 bags of the same type and size apples from Trader Joe's for 10 bucks and they filled the same peck box I paid triple for and had to pick them myself. We went early October for pumpkins. They have you pick apples and pumpkins. Its a ten minute walk to pumpkins, 5 minutes to apples or they offer tractor trailer rides ($2per or $10 for group) Everyone was nice and helpful. They even offered us a ride back for free which was really nice. There are different patches of pumpkins and we were informed right away about... This is our absolute favorite place for you-pick! You can't find a better experience in this family owned and run farm. They even have a trailer that is handicapped accessible, so if you have a wheelchair that can handle a farm this is a game changer for an activity that is normally out of reach for special needs families with mobility issues. It's such a family friendly place and our kids look forward to our visit every fall and we love seeing the owners every year. I would give more than 5...
